Eliminating obstacles so that all girls can reach new heights, and all women can achieve their dreams.
For Her Foundation (FHF) is a non-profit organization established in 2020 to support charitable and educational projects designed to improve the welfare, status, and potential of African women and children and promote respect for their rights.
We were founded to respond to the reality that millions of girls in Uganda do not go to school because they lack access to sanitary pads and corresponding reproductive health education.
"If condoms are free, why can't pads be free so that every girl accesses them?"
- Sheila Namahe, Founder

Eliminating obstacles so that all girls can reach new heights, and all women can achieve their dreams through access to menstrual health products, education, and economic empowerment.
A world where every woman and girl has access to menstrual health products, education, and opportunities to thrive, free from stigma and barriers.

On Friday, October 8th, 2021, Counsel Sheila Namahe partnered with singer Sheebah Karungi to launch For Her Foundation - a menstrual health campaign aimed at raising awareness around the heightened menstruation-related challenges women and girls face in communities.
The campaign started with founders Sheila Namahe (For Her Foundation) and Sheebah Karungi (Sheebah Cares) distributing 7,000 packets of pads to the areas of Gaba (Kitogo), Namuwongo, Makindye, and Nabisalu.
"Changing the story of young women and teenage girls, Breaking barriers, Empowering mothers and Strengthening communities."
This tagline embodies our commitment to comprehensive support for women and girls at all life stages.
